Meanwhile, please watch the following short videos regarding room set up and layouts, particularly the use of the share pod. The videos are very short and are easily accessed by simply clicking on the link (then press the play button)
Once you have watched these videos please go to the Connect course in the VLE Toolkit and watch the following videos, developed by Sally Bird. Sally describes the setting up of layouts and also further use of the share pod.

* To copy a layout: click on the + on the bottom right hand side of the page and then select "Duplicate an existing layout".
ReplyDelete* To determine which pods you will need consult your session plan and select these based on the interaction required and other uses e.g. most sessions it is handy to include the attendees pod and meeting chat pod, then decide if you wish to share a file for example, use a whiteboard etc and select these accordingly.
* To create a blank layout, click on the + in the bottom right hand side of the page and select "Create a new blank layout". Enter a name for the layout.
* From memory to change a participants stautus you highlight the participant's name and drag them to the desired status (Presenter or Host).
